Kids Program

Will a kids program be offered for teens?

No, NHF will not be offering a kids program for teens. As an alternative, please register your teen for the Teen Track program. Those registered for the Teen Track can make their own schedule, and go to the sessions on their own or with their parent/caregiver.

 

Can I register my child for the Kids Program on-site?

No. NHF has hired a licensed and bonded Kids Program company to run these supervised programs for children ages 12 and under, and needs to ensure an accurate head count so the appropriate number of staff will be available to make sure your child has fun in a safe environment. Registration for the Kids Program will close on Friday, July 10, 2020.

 

When does the Kids Program begin and do I need to sign my child in and out each day?

Our Kids Program will be offered as of Thursday, August 6. A parent or guardian needs to sign in their child each morning and sign them out each evening. We encourage participants to check in their children at the Kids Program registration booth before the program begins on Thursday, August 6, 2020 to avoid delays during morning drop off. Kids Program check in will take place Thursday, August 6 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:15 p.m, Friday, August 7 from 9:00 a.m.- 5:15 p.m and Saturday, August 8 from 9:00 a.m.-5:15 p.m. (schedule subject to change). Teen Track

Can I register my child for the Teen Track on-site?

Yes! While we plan these sessions in advance, you may register your teen on-site for this exciting track.

 

Do I need to sign my child in and out for the Teen Track?

No. This program is for teens who are more independent and their parents feel that they are capable of attending these interactive sessions on their own.
 
 

Registration

Does NHF offer any financial support for attendees at the Bleeding Disorders Conference?

Yes. We do offer financial support in the form of a registration fee waiver. Click here to apply for a registration fee waiver. A separate application needs to be completed for each family member. The deadline to apply is Friday, July 17, 2020. Please note, if a paid registration is completed, a financial application will not be considered.

 
I need to pay by check or money order. How do I complete my registration for the Bleeding Disorders Conference?
 

If you are unable to pay by credit card, and would like to pay by check or money order, please e-mail NHFregistration@hemophilia.org in order to receive an offline registration form. Please note, registration fees for off-line registrations will reflect the on-site registration fees listed on our website.

 

I registered and I am no longer able to attend. Will I get a refund?

Please click here for our detailed refund policy. Please note that refund requests are subject to 25% cancellation fees. The deadline to request a partial refund is Friday, July 10, 2020.

 

Providers

Are continuing education credits offered for attending the Bleeding Disorders Conference?

Information on continuing education credits for healthcare providers will be available onsite at the CME/CE desk. Individuals need to either be provider badge holders or Industry (non-exhibitor) & Full Access exhibitor badge holders (if provider with credentials) to be considered eligible for sessions with continuing education credits. All other registration categories ARE NOT eligible and will need to upgrade their registration appropriately. 

 

Venues

Where will the sessions take place?

All Bleeding Disorders Conference sessions will take place at the Georgia World Congress Center. The Exhibit Hall, Kids Program, Registration and majority of networking events will also be located at the Georgia World Congress Center
