Virtual BDC Camp - Camp Unite

This year, we’re bringing camp to you!

Join us for the National Hemophilia Foundation’s first ever virtual Bleeding Disorders Conference youth camp: Camp Unite. Camp has always been an unforgettable experience for youth with bleeding disorders across the country, and this year will be no different. At Camp Unite, we’ll be building the same sense of community, friendship, and trust among campers in a safe, virtual environment.

What Will Virtual Camp Look Like?

What You Can Expect

Kids and teens will be assigned to a virtual bunk with campers their age, each staffed by a trained counselor. Before camp begins, campers will be mailed a box full of goodies and supplies. There will be activities campers can complete by themselves and fun sessions to learn more about bleeding disorders. Each day will have a new challenge for campers to take part in, with real prizes at the end of the week! Campers will also get an opportunity to learn about what it is like to live with a bleeding disorder in other countries around the world and how they can make a difference.

Camp Unite will have special guests guiding campers all week through the learning and fun. Guests include:

  • Pat Torrey, Founder, C.E.O. & Big Dog of GutMonkey
  • Patrick James Lynch, filmmaker, media professional, globally recognized health advocate, Founder & CEO of Believe Limited
  • Chris Bombardier, Executive Director of Save of Life

We’ll end our virtual camp with a campfire for the whole family, full of songs, games, and laughter.
