NHF is thrilled to announce that the 74th Annual Bleeding Disorders Conference (BDC) will take place from August 25 to 27, 2022, in Houston, Texas. After two years of uncertainty, we are excited to gather our community in person!
For those that cannot join us in Houston, we will also be offering a virtual component. A total of 28 hours of selected sessions from the Consumer, Teen, and Chapter tracks will be live-streamed. These sessions will also be available on-demand immediately after the live broadcast. On-demand sessions will be accessible on our virtual platform until September 25, 2022.
We will also be offering 12 hours of selected live streaming sessions from the Provider tracks. An Enduring Program during late Fall of 2022 will be offered. More information to come!
We cannot wait to welcome you to Houston and provide top-notch education via our virtual platform!
The 2022 Bleeding Disorders Conference is set to take place in Houston this August. NHF is aware of recent legal developments that can make Texas unwelcoming to individuals who identify as women, or those who are members of the LGBTQIA+ community. These developments, as well as the location of this year’s BDC event, do not reflect NHF’s purpose, mission, and values.
As part of NHF’s long-term planning efforts for BDC, locations are selected six years prior to the actual event. However, NHF understands the choice of individuals not wanting to travel to Texas for their own safety, well-being, or beliefs. We encourage those in this position to consider attending virtually, and save the date for BDC in 2023, which will take place in the greater Washington, D.C. area.
