2022 Registration Cancellation Policy

All name and registration category changes or cancellations will be subject to the relevant cancellation policy. 

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION

In-Person Registration: Participants registered for in-person that are no longer able to attend NHF’s BDC will receive a refund equivalent to 75% of their paid registration fee, provided that NHF’s Conference & Travel Services department is advised of the cancellation in writing before July 29, 2022. 

Participants registered for in-person that are no longer able to attend NHF’s BDC but would like to remain a registered attendee for BDC's virtual offering will receive a refund equivalent to 75%* of their paid registration fee, provided that NHF’s Conference & Travel Services department is advised of the cancellation in writing before July 29, 2022. 

*If the 25% cancellation fee is less than the $10 virtual attendee registration, you will receive a refund of your paid fee less the $10.

Once the refund is processed, the registrant will receive a virtual registration confirmation. 

All refund requests or registration type changes received after July 29, 2022, will not be considered. All approved refunds will be issued within 15 business days after each cancellation deadline, as specified below:

  • For cancellation requests received by March 11, 2022 – Refunds will be processed by April 1, 2022.
  • For cancellation requests received from March 12, 2022, to May 20, 2022 – Refunds will be processed before June 10, 2022.
  • For cancellation requests received from May 21, 2022, to July 29, 2022 – Refunds will be processed before August 19, 2022.

Name changes on an in-person registration will not be accepted. If the person registered can no longer attend, a cancellation notice needs to be sent to NHF’s Conference & Travel Services department before August 25, 2022. The cancellation policy will be followed as per the above.

VIRTUAL-ONLY REGISTRATION

Virtual Registration: No refunds will be processed for virtual-only registrations.

Participants registered as VIRTUAL-ONLY who would like to change their attendance to IN-PERSON can send the request in writing to NHF's Conference & Travel Services department before July 29, 2022. 

All VIRTUAL-ONLY to IN-PERSON registration requests received after July 29, 2022, will not be considered. All approved upgrades** will be completed within 15 business days after each cancellation deadline, as specified below. The registrant will be requested to provide payment information and be charged the difference in fees.

  • For virtual-only to in-person upgrade requests received by March 11, 2022 – Upgrades will be processed by April 1, 2022.
  • For virtual-only to on-site upgrade requests received from March 12, 2022, to May 20, 2022 – Upgrades will be processed before June 10, 2022.
  • For virtual-only to on-site upgrade requests received from May 21, 2022, to July 29, 2022 – Upgrades will be processed before August 19, 2022.

**Upgrades: Registration change from virtual-only to in-person. The registration category must remain the same.
