Invitation to NHF’s 2022 Bleeding Disorders Conference

Dear friends, colleagues, and supporters,

It is a great pleasure to invite you to join us at NHF’s 2022 Bleeding Disorders Conference which will take place from August 25 to 27, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. After two years of not being able to meet in person, we are looking forward more than ever to convening our community to explore important treatment and research developments in hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, and other inheritable bleeding disorders, including gene therapies that could potentially revolutionize care.

NHF is taking all precautions necessary to ensure that all attendees are well-informed and respectful of the convention center’s public health safety measures and NHF’s in-person event protocols. We kindly ask all attendees to partner with us and commit to the guidelines laid out in the registration process and conference program to ensure that we can all meet safely. For those unable to attend in person, we invite you to register online and join us through BDC 2022’s interactive virtual platform for select livestreamed and on-demand sessions.

The conference, the largest of its kind in the United States, will feature our high-caliber educational program for key members of the bleeding disorders community: consumers, chapter leaders, health care professionals, and industry. With three full days of educational sessions, workshops, industry symposia, and networking and social events – totaling over 90 hours of programming – as well as an expansive Exhibit Hall with poster presentations, exhibit booths and presentation theatres, BDC 2022 promises to be an altogether rich and comprehensive learning experience for both in‐person and online attendees. There will also be a Science Fair display in the Exhibit Hall, for adults and kids of all ages.

With support from our sponsors and industry partners, this year NHF is pleased to provide people living with bleeding disorders and chapters with a 70% reduction in registration fees. More than 2,000 participants from across the United States and around the world are expected at NHF’s signature annual event and our community’s most anticipated gathering – we hope we can count you in at BDC 2022!
